Introducing Spinal Cord Injury Research Evidence (SCIRE) Community, a new evidence-based web resource for people living with SCI

What they’ve been working on is called SCIRE … she’s trying to tell us about it, but the feed to the projectors has been hosed up somehow.

So she — oops, there it is.

SCIRE is the name of the site, which is an international collaboration, involving 70 collaborators from all over the world … but it can be tough for people with SCI because of the technical information. The community works to provide the info in everyday language.

it’s grounded in research evidence and best practices, developed from clinicians and researchers. They started with a working group of 19 people, including people with Sci, community organizations, and clinicians.

She’s doing a tour of the site … super impressed. Go have a look at this thing. This is the link:

https://scireproject.com/community/

This site is linked through a professional version, which is made for  — duh — the pros. I seriously love this because it looks to be a live version of the book I wrote a couple of years ago. Much easier to update than a printed text, and they clearly have the chops to make it work.

If you go there and think of something you wish were available (by way of knowledge, information, news, and so on) they REALLY want to hear from you.
